Thank you for your interest in volunteering for St Luke’s!
Having people freely give their time to help St Luke’s, whether that’s directly collecting money, organising events, making connections with local businesses, advocating for our work, or working alongside us in the office, is a valuable contribution to St Luke’s.
We work hard to ensure that all our volunteers are appropriately involved, valued for their contribution and respected as colleagues and there are many opportunities to join our team as a volunteer:
- Spending time in the Westminster office helping with data and admin
- Helping onsite at events
- Hosting fundraising activities on behalf of St Luke’s
In the office: there is a regular volunteering position to work alongside the fundraising team at the office in Church House, Westminster. Tasks include research, data, administration and using Canva for basic creative tasks. Volunteers spend a minimum of six weeks in post and can work alongside us for a maximum of six months.
We will train and support the volunteer in different aspects of our office work and encourage them to explore new skills and hone old ones. Our aim is to build confidence and encourage learning for volunteers to be ready to rejoin the workplace in the outside world!
We have recently hosted three volunteers who have each gone on to secure full time employment in the public sector.
- Personal fulfilment
- Work experience
- Opportunities to learn new skills
- Opportunities to meet people
- Experience in a busy London office
- A lot of fun!
