Conference 2025 round-up

Resources from our one-conference for clergy wellbeing

Conference

Five years on from the Covenant for Clergy Care & Wellbeing, St Luke’s held our one-day conference on 24th September 2025 in Birmingham.

Below you will find resources from the event.

The day brought together wellbeing representatives from many dioceses in the Church of England, the Church in Wales and the Scottish Episcopal Church to share experiences, network and learn from each other.

The day was curated for diocesan wellbeing leads, human resources personnel, researchers and all those interested in clergy mental health and wellbeing.

Alongside keynote speakers, the day provided delegates with the following different workshops:

  • Clergy Wellbeing Research
  • Responding to the Clergy Covenant
  • Exploring Moral Injury
  • Food, Mood and Mental Health

Next year’s conference has been booked – Wednesday 30th September. Save the date!

"The bishop set the tone and the baseline research was excellent. The Wellbeing research was truly excellent and revelatory, very useful indeed and presented by two experts.” Conference attendee feedback

"The organisation was wonderful, and facilitated a day that moved along - great idea to use the bells - but didn't feel rushed. The planning, the concepts, the care were exceptional. St Luke's always puts on a good conference, and this was the best day I've had at such an event for years.” Conference attendee feedback
